Look at the windows and throw your Poison Cloud with your crosshair placed like it is in the image below. You throw this just before the halfway point between attacking and defending side near bombsite A. One last Viper Poison Cloud we have for you is an A Ramp smoke from the attacking side. Now, you can move back to the stairs and see the enemy team coming up A ramp. Get in position at the area shown below, and jump-throw your Poison Cloud so it balanced above the door. This Poison Cloud is a bit tricky to learn, but it’s very effective for defending A Ramp. Poison Cloud – One-Way from A Heaven to A Ramp G et the smoke to balance on the little lip above the entrance. You can see under it, but the enemy team won’t be able to spot you as they walk up the stairs. The one-way mid smoke can be used to easily defend mid from the B heaven side. This will cause the Poison Cloud to go off a little bit off the ground, leaving an area for us to see through only from the inside of B. Look up towards the ceiling and aim for the corner like shown in the image below. It’s a one-way Poison Cloud you can use if you are defending bombsite B. Here’s one of the best Viper Split Smokes. You can throw “one-way smokes”, which are Poison Clouds that make allow you to see the enemy, while making it almost impossible for them to see you. We have a few Viper Smokes on the Split map to show off as well. This Toxic Screen serves two purposes and allows your support player to help out the A ramp area without actually being there. Here’s a Toxic Screen that spans the entire area fro mid all the way over to ‘A Ramp’. Walk right in and easily retake the site. This one only leaves open the backside of A/elbow. You can wall off the entire side including rafters and A ramp. If you need to retake bombsite A, this Toxic Screen thrown from the CT side of A is very useful. Practice until you can perfectly block off B heaven and CT spawn like shown below. Line up your crosshair like it is in the image below, and fire a Toxic Screen. Toxic Screen – wall off B heaven and CT Spawnįrom the attacking side, before you enter the garage area towards the B site, look up over the sign on the warehouse. From there, launch a Toxic Screen while standing still and aiming at the same location. Look up until you are at the same angle with the skyscraper in the picture below. Start near your spawn area and head towards the top lane towards the A site. This makes it easy to walk right into the A site as long as nobody counters your move with a Sage. One Toxic Screen can completely block the vision of defenders on A Ramps and A Rafters. Toxic Screen – wall off A ramps and raftersįirst, let’s talk about the best Viper walls, or Toxic Screens, on Split. There are a few effective examples down below that you can practice. Viper can be a great team member to wall off different parts of the map with her Toxic Screen. Bombsite A has two entry points and Bombsite B has one entry point, not including the middle lane. Split is a map coined for its polar opposite aesthetics from one side of the map to the other.
